Edits as Word tracked changes
The agent’s changes are applied to your open document as native Word revisions. You review them on Word’s own Review tab, like any colleague’s redline.
One conversation, two places
A session opened in Word also appears in the dashboard. You can steer it from there. While the document stays open in Word, the agent’s edits land in it live.
Linked to the vault
Save the document to your vault and it autosaves from Word from then on, so the agent and your team always see the latest version. Each save is a new version.
Where it runs
The add-in asks Word for permission to read and write the current document. It has no access to other files on your computer.
What depends on your version of Word
The add-in checks what your copy of Word can do, and tells you if something is unavailable.
If your version is behind, a banner explains: “Your version of Word doesn’t support all Casa Conect features… Please update Office to get the full experience.”
Limits
Security
- You sign in through your organization’s normal sign-in, in a secure dialog. The add-in never sees your sign-in code. It holds only a short-lived access token in memory, and a single-use session handle that is rotated every time it is used. A reused handle is detected and the session is ended.
- The document is sent to Casa Conect only when you ask the agent to work on it or choose to save it to the vault.
- Everything the agent does in Word follows the same permission levels and access rules as in the dashboard.
