Three kinds of vault
Folders nest as deeply as you like, and items keep the order you arrange them in. The list refreshes by itself when a colleague or the agent adds something.
Add documents
Upload
Drag files onto the vault, or choose New → Upload File. Up to 25 files at a time, 50 MB each. Keep the browser open until the upload completes.
Create
New → New document starts a blank document in the editor. Create Folder adds a folder.
From email
File attachments from an Inbox conversation, or have the agent do it.
From a drive
Link a Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint folder and keep it in sync.
Accepted file types
What you can do with a file depends on its type:
Every upload is scanned for malware before it can be opened, and indexed for search shortly afterwards. See Search.
Work with an item
Open an item’s menu for Download, Download as Word (.docx), Open in Word, Version history, Rename, Move, Add to matter and Delete. Open in Word downloads a copy that stays linked to the vault. When you save it from the Word add-in, it comes back as a new version of the same document, not as a duplicate.Versions
Every document has one history, whatever changed it. Open Version history to see each version with its origin:
Restore makes an earlier version current again. Nothing is lost: the current content is kept in the version history.
Delete
The agent is instructed to confirm with you before it deletes anything it did not create in the same conversation, and deletion is a sensitive action under permission levels. The viewer
Opening a file shows it in the document viewer, which can be docked to the side or expanded, with a page list and zoom. Up to 20 files can be open as tabs. For Word files the viewer is candid about how faithful the page layout is:
Word files with tracked changes show a Tracked changes panel in the viewer. See Tracked changes.
