Email is where most client work starts, so it is one of the agent’s most important sources. There are two addresses, for two different jobs.

The agent's address

One for each organization. Forward a thread, copy the agent in, or let clients write to it. The agent reads, files, drafts and opens matters.

Your docs address

One for each person. Send files to your own inbox for filing. No agent involved.

What the agent gets from an email

Setting it up

1

Find the address

Settings → Agent inbox → Agent address. Share it with your team.
2

Choose who may reach it

Members only, or members and the client domains you allow.
3

Choose how replies leave

Drafts require approval, which is the default, or automatic replies to known participants.
4

Optionally, use your own domain

Give the agent an address on a subdomain you control.

What Casa Conect does not do

Casa Conect does not connect to your mailbox. It does not read your Outlook or Gmail inbox, and it never sends from your personal address. The agent sees only the mail that is sent, forwarded or copied to its own address, and its replies come from that address. This is a deliberate boundary. It keeps the scope of what the agent can see entirely in your hands, and it means that a problem with the agent can never become a problem with your own mailbox.
To bring a client’s whole thread into a matter, forward it to the agent’s address with a line such as “Link this to the Andersson purchase and file the attachments.”
