The Casa Conect editor is where you and the agent write together. It has true page layout, so documents look the way they will print. It is collaborative, so colleagues can type at the same time. It also speaks Word’s language, tracked changes included.

What opens in the editor

Everything else, such as PDFs, images and spreadsheets, opens in the read-only viewer.

Writing

Type / on an empty line for the block menu: Heading 1–3, Bulleted list, Numbered list, Checklist, Table, Blockquote, Code block, Divider and Page break. The toolbar covers character formatting, alignment, links and images. Each document shows which vault it belongs to: Project vault, Organization vault, Private vault or Shared Space. Up to 12 documents can be open as tabs.

Page layout

Open Page setup to control how the document is laid out. Page breaks appear where they fall, so you can see as you write that a signature block has been pushed onto a page by itself.

Working together

Several people can edit the same document at once. You see colleagues’ cursors and their changes as they type. The connection indicator shows Connected, Connecting or Connection interrupted. If your connection drops, keep working. Your changes are sent when it returns. The agent is a collaborator too. When it edits a document you have open, you watch the suggestions appear.

The agent’s edits

When the agent changes a document that already existed, its changes arrive as tracked changes. A review bar appears, reading “N AI suggestions”, with Accept all and Reject all, and each suggestion can be resolved individually. Accepting or rejecting is an ordinary edit. Everyone viewing the document sees the result immediately.

Versions

The editor saves continuously. There is no save button to forget. To mark a moment you may want to return to, choose Save version. Version history lists saved versions along with versions created by uploads, Word saves and the agent, and Restore brings one back without losing the current content. See Versions.

Export

Conversion happens entirely inside Casa Conect’s infrastructure. Your document is not sent to a third-party converter. After an export you may see a note such as “Exported — 2 parts of the document changed”. The editor tells you whenever something could not be carried across exactly. Word documents explains what and why.
