The sidebar

The sidebar on the left is how you move around. It can be collapsed, and you can drag its edge to resize it. Double-click the edge to reset it.
Inbox and Vault open as panels beside what you are doing, rather than replacing it. You can drag a file from the Vault or the Inbox straight onto a document slot in a Shared Space.

If items are locked

If your organization has been enabled for Casa Conect OS but has not yet registered a card, the OS items are visible but locked: “Your organization is ready for Casa Conect OS. Register a card once and this page opens for everyone in your workspace.” See Plans and billing.

Projects in the sidebar

Each project can be expanded to show its conversations. From a project’s menu you can pin it, or start a new agent in the project. The list updates by itself as colleagues create projects.

The agent rail

With Casa Conect OS, Open agent slides out a conversation panel on any screen. It knows what you are looking at, whether a matter, a document, an email or a Shared Space, so you can ask about this without explaining what this is. See Conversations.

The viewer and the editor

Opening a file shows it in the viewer, which you can dock to the side or expand. Files open as tabs, up to 20 at a time. Word, Markdown and text documents can be opened in the editor, with up to 12 tabs. See The Vault and The editor.

Settings

Settings takes over the whole page, with its own menu on the left. The arrow at the top returns you to where you were. See Administration for what each section contains.

In Microsoft Word

The Casa Conect button on Word’s Home tab opens the agent in a panel beside your document. See Casa Conect for Word.
