An organization, called a workspace during sign-up, is the home of your office in Casa Conect. It holds your organization vault, projects, matters, agent inbox, skills, guidance and billing.

Create an organization

When someone signs up with a company email address, Casa Conect offers to Set up your workspace during onboarding, and suggests a name based on the address. The person who creates it becomes its first admin. People who sign up to take part in a Shared Space can choose I’m here as an individual instead. Shared Spaces, the inbox and the private vault work without an organization, and one can be created later from Settings.

Invite people

1

Open Members

Settings → Members → Invite teammates.
2

Enter email addresses and choose a role

Pick Member or Admin for each person. See Roles and permissions.
3

Send

They get an email with a link to join. They sign in with that email address to accept.
Outstanding invitations are listed under Pending invitations, where you can resend or revoke them. Only admins can see and manage invitations.
Invite people at the email address where they will receive sign-in codes. Casa Conect signs people in by email, so an invitation sent to an alias they cannot read is of no use to them.

Change a role

In Settings → Members, change a person’s role between Member and Admin. The change applies the next time their session refreshes, which happens within minutes.

Remove someone

Choose Remove next to their name and confirm: “They lose access to this organization immediately.”
Before you remove someone who is leaving, check Settings → Integrations → Synced folders for links they set up, and have another member link those folders again if they still matter. Reassign their open matters as well.
A member shown as Deactivated has been deactivated at the identity provider and can no longer sign in.

Delete the organization

Settings → Organization → Delete. Permanently delete this organization. All members lose access; data tied to the organization is removed. You must type the organization’s name to confirm. This cannot be undone. Check your subscription under Access & billing before you delete the organization, and contact support if you are unsure what will happen to it.

Shared Spaces are separate

Membership of a Shared Space is separate from membership of your organization. Clients, the other side’s lawyer and the notary are invited to a space, not to your organization. They see nothing of your vaults, matters or inbox. See Members and teams.
