# The agent

> What the Casa Conect agent is, where you meet it, what it can do, and how you stay in control of it.

The Casa Conect agent is an AI colleague that works inside your workspace. It reads the documents in your vaults, drafts and edits in the editor and in Word, keeps matters moving, handles email, and looks things up on the web. It works with the same records you do, under the same access rules, and it shows its work.
